I get crazy whims sometimes. My latest victim? This chest of drawers from college.
I had a few days off work this week, and I woke up determined to make a worthwhile before/after. Sometimes these projects suffer greatly from my lack of process-related patience, but I was hopeful. I pulled out the sander I got for my birthday last year (yes, I asked for it!), bought a few cans of pewter grey spray paint, and headed to Hobby Lobby for knobs. And good grief. I couldn’t choose just one pair—so I chose six, one set for each drawer.
I solemnly left the rest behind, but I’m still dreaming up new places for pretty handles. I’d actually put up with sanding, priming, and double-coating something else.
So watch out, desk. You’re next.
